The Jeffery Simmons Turf Field is located at the Starkville Sportsplex. Completed in May 2022, the $1.1 million playing field is used for football, soccer, community events, and a number of sports tourism events. In July 2022, NFL Pro Bowler Jeffery Simmons entered into a $75,000 sponsorship agreement with Starkville Parks & Recreation. Not only will this agreement feature the name and logo of the local professional athlete and philanthropist, but it also lists the Starkville Sportsplex as the home of the Jeffery Simmons Football Camp until 2032.

About the Jeffery Simmons Football Camp

Each year, Jeffery Simmons returns home to Mississippi to host his free football camp. During the camp, hundreds of kids from Starkville and surrounding areas are afforded the opportunity to learn and sharpen their football skills, fundamentals, and sportsmanship from standout NFL players, collegiate players, league veterans, and local coaches. Throughout the camp, campers are encouraged to compete at a high level, with an awards ceremony closing each day.
